Partial Bathroom Remodel

Today we’ll look at a partial bathroom remodel.

Replacing or tiling over your existing bathroom floor can be a simple solution for an update. If the current tile is flat and over concrete or a mortar base, it may be able to be tiled over. If the bathtub, faucet and wall tile are in good shape, a partial bathroom remodel can add years of enjoyment without the cost of a complete remodel. We can also re-tile a tub area while leaving the existing floor and bathtub in place.

Removing the vanity and fixtures lets us run the tile across the entire floor. If the vanity was updated or changed to a pedestal in the future, the tile floor would still look complete and professional.

The bathtub and wall tile can still be removed and updated without disturbing the new floor, on this particular job.
